So, what now?
What’s important to you in life? What excites you? What makes you happy? Take a minute to think about this. Now, how many of these things that you just thought about have you been putting off until tomorrow, and more importantly, why?
There is a ton of information out there that explains why, and it all leads to one thing, our fear, fear of what could go wrong if we do these things, fear created by our brain’s natural instinct to protect us.
This is one of my favorite topics, how to take action towards those things that are important to you, that excite you, that make you happy! So you can be sure I’ll be writing more about this. For now I leave you with this, as strange as this sounds, don’t listen to your brain. When you think about taking that first step, that risk, and you start getting all these thoughts of what could go wrong, don’t listen and keep moving on. It’s OK to have fear, it’s part of being human. Embrace that fear and keep moving forward!
